Settlements

Move your balance to your own account.

Money you collect stays on your Monerail balance until you pay it out or settle it. A settlement sends it to your own bank or mobile money account.

Set up the destination

In the dashboard, an Owner opens Settings › Settlements and saves one account per currency. Only an Owner can change them, and never through the API.

Create a settlement

Error Meaning
settlement_destination_missing No settlement account saved for this currency.
settlement_destination_invalid The saved account is not accepted by the payment partner: check it in the dashboard.
balance_insufficient The balance does not cover the amount.

Settlements follow the same statuses as payouts and send settlement.succeeded or settlement.failed. Keys of Owner and Finance members can create settlements.
